O’Melveny Study on Corporate Tax Rates Cited in San Francisco Chronicle

August 20, 2013 An O’Melveny & Myers study on corporate tax rates was recently cited by the San Francisco Chronicle in an article focused on tax reform.   As the August 18, 2013, piece reported, the O’Melveny study found that “firms facing a burdensome corporate tax such as that in the United States are at a competitive disadvantage against international counterparts and could potentially ‘fall behind in innovation and productive capacity.’"  The study was led by partners Jonathan Sallet and Robert Rizzi and was published by the RATE Coalition in 2012.

Sallet is a member of O’Melveny’s Antitrust and Competition and Integrated Legal Strategies Practices, and resides in the Firm’s Washington, DC office.  Rizzi is a member of the Tax Practice, and splits his time between O’Melveny’s Washington, DC and New York offices.
