September 06, 2012

In the latest in a series of columns by O’Melveny & Myers LLP lawyers examining the intersections of the political and legal worlds in the run-up to Election Day 2012, Washington, DC partner Robert Rizzi and associate Elizabeth France co-authored the article “Navigating the Nomination Process for Political Appointees” for the September 6, 2012, issue of Corporate Counsel.

The authors discuss the ever-changing policies and rules which make up the vetting process of political appointees and describe what questions potential nominees can expect regarding their financial matters, mental health, foreign travel, and possible conflicts of interest.
