O'Melveny's Almeling Named a Recorder 2013 Fast Track Lawyer

June 24, 2013

O’Melveny counsel David Almeling was named a 2013 Fast Track lawyer by The Recorder, which recognized lawyers in their first 10 years of practice who “stood out among their peers based on their career achievements and leadership roles within their practice, organization or the larger community.” Recorder editors chose the 50 winners after reviewing materials on more than 200 nominees. “One thing that struck us, as we sifted through the nominations, was the determination that many of our nominees displayed,” said Recorder Editor in Chief Greg Mitchell. “They knew what they wanted to accomplish in the profession, and they’ve gone out and made it happen — in some cases, in an astonishingly short time.”

Almeling was recognized in the June 24, 2013, feature as “an authority on trade secret law.” A member of O'Melveny's Intellectual Property and Technology Practice within the Litigation Department, Almeling represents clients in intellectual property litigation, with a primary focus on patent and trade secret litigation. He also represents clients in trademark, copyright, and unfair competition matters. He resides in the Firm's San Francisco office.
