O’Melveny’s Appointment of Yagura as Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Chair Noted in Multiple Publications

May 01, 2015 O’Melveny & Myers’ recent appointment of Los Angeles partner Ryan Yagura as chair of the Firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Group was covered by several publications, including Intellectual Property Magazine, IP Frontline, and BNA's Patent Trademark & Copyright Journal.

With more than 15 years of experience, Yagura focuses on complex technical litigation and patent transactional matters. He handles patent infringement actions related to a variety of technologies including smartphones, tablets, computer systems, microprocessors, graphics processors, wireless communications, and LCD displays, among many others. Yagura represents companies in high-stakes patent litigation matters; Section 337 investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission; complex antitrust actions; misappropriation of trade secrets cases; and breach of software and system development contract cases. Prior to attending law school, Yagura worked as an engineer at Intel Corporation on the Pentium microprocessor and at Read-Rite Corporation on the development of thin film magnetic recording heads.
