O’Melveny’s Brody Authors Article for Melanoma Research Alliance on Firm’s Pro Bono Work

October 18, 2013 Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA) recently published to its website an “Ally Story” by O’Melveny & Myers partner Steve Brody detailing his experience of losing a friend to Melanoma cancer in 2009, and describing the Firm’s history of providing pro bono legal representation to MRA since 2011.  Over the course of O’Melveny’s relationship with MRA, the Firm has provided numerous pro bono services including evaluating regulatory impediments to the development of combination therapies, providing guidance for tax and employment issues, revising agreements with important partners to protect the organization’s interests, and contributing legal advice on a range of other issues.  “Over the course of our work, it has been rewarding to see MRA recognized throughout the cancer research, prevention, and advocacy communities,” Brody wrote in the article.

Brody is a member of O’Melveny’s Class Actions, Mass Torts, and Insurance Litigation Practice, and resides in the Firm’s Washington, DC office.
