O’Melveny’s Bush Comments on Stricter Control Over Audit Firms in China in the Wall Street Journal

O’Melveny Beijing partner Nathan Bush was quoted in the May 18, 2012, Wall Street Journal article “US, China Feud Over Audit Firms,” discussing the recent action Chinese regulators in Beijing have taken to assert more control over Chinese affiliates of major accounting firms by requiring that Chinese citizens lead those firms and make up most of the partners. In the article, Bush, who is a member of the Firm’s Antitrust & Competition Practice, commented  on how “"[a]ccounting firms have always had to steer between the U.S. authorities and the Chinese government, but those straits are now narrowing."
