O’Melveny’s Bush Quoted in Global Competition Review on Chinese Merger Enforcers

September 11, 2014

The September 10, 2014, issue of Global Competition Review, details a conference at the George Washington University School of Law where O’Melveny & Myers partner Nate Bush spoke about the hurdles that international companies face when doing business in China. The article, “Chinese Merger Enforcers Face ‘Complex Incentives’,” extensively quotes Bush on the “conflicting incentives and different institutional and legal frameworks” that regulatory authorities China’s Ministry of Commerce (Mofcom), the National Development and Reform Commission, and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce present to companies doing deals in China.
