美迈斯合伙人程乐其接受美国《华尔街时报》采访谈及中国的反腐战役八月 18, 2015 The Wall Street Journal discusses China’s anti-corruption campaign in its August 18, 2015, article, “Few Options for China’s Fox Hunters on U.S. Soil.” The article focuses on the effort known as “Operation Fox Hunt,” which has officials searching for corrupt Chinese fugitives hiding in the United States. O’Melveny & Myers partner Ron Cheng, a former member of the Cybercrime and Intellectual Property Crimes Section at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California, is quoted saying, “There are certainly cases where the actual violation might not seem all that serious, but there is probable cause to believe it’s tied to larger criminal conduct. I think in that kind of situation, there might very well be consideration given to prosecution.”
Cheng is a partner in O’Melveny’s Los Angeles and Hong Kong offices and a member of the Firm’s White Collar Defense & Corporate Investigations Group.
