O’Melveny’s Dellinger Quoted in The Huffington Post About Schools’ Methods for Teaching the Constitution

September 16, 2011 The September 16, 2011, The Huffington Post article “Let's Help, Not Hinder, Schools in Teaching the Constitution,” takes a look at the educational initatives taken by the Constitution in the Classroom program to educate the nation’s schoolchildren about the US Constitution. Launched by American Constitution Society in 2006, Constitution in the Classroom was designed to bring lawyers and law students to public schools nationwide to teach nonpartisan and objective lessons on the nation's founding document. In Washington, DC former Acting Solicitor General and O’Melveny & Myers partner Walter Dellinger will lead a branch of the program by teaching a course on students' free speech rights.
