O’Melveny’s Lash Authors Daily Journal Article on Lawyers’ Critical Role in War on Poverty

August 28, 2012

David Lash, managing counsel of O’Melveny & Myers LLP’s public interest and pro bono services, authored the August 28, 2012, Daily Journal article “Lawyers' critical role in the war on poverty.” According to Lash, legal aid lawyers can make a significant difference in the lives of the poorest Americans by assisting with SSI Disability appeals, helping to recover child support, enforcing building and safety codes, and advocating for veterans. “If people only knew what a cost-effective tool legal aid lawyers can be in our war against poverty, it would create a new dimension to our national dialogue,” writes Lash.
