O’Melveny’s Lash Authors Daily Journal Article on Modern Pro Bono Movement

March 27, 2014

O'Melveny & Myers counsel David Lash authored a March 27, 2014, Daily Journal article, titled “Lawyers Lead the Way to Combat Poverty.”  The piece focuses on the modern pro bono movement, which Lash explains was shaped in part by the actions of presidents Johnson and Kennedy over 50 years ago.  “Lawyers can do more to combat poverty than can any other group of professionals in our society.  From the day that truth is accepted, our obligation and our impact will only grow,” Lash writes.

Lash serves as Managing Counsel of O’Melveny’s public interest and pro bono services.  He resides in the Firm’s Los Angeles and Century City offices.
