O'Melveny's Lichtenbaum Authors Article for Corporate Counsel on Impact of Iran Sanctions

March 08, 2012

In the latest in a series of columns published by Corporate Counsel from O'Melveny attorneys examining the intersections of the political and legal worlds in the run-up to Election Day 2012, White Collar Defense and Corporate Investigations Practice Group partner Greta Lichtenbaum discusses the impact of economic sanctions against Iran for multinational corporations.

In the Mach 8, 2012 article, "Iran Sanctions Mean Multinationals Need To Prepare for Close Scrutiny," Lichtenbaum writes that "with an ever-expanding sanctions regime focused on Iran, companies operating internationally do so in an atmosphere of increasing legal and reputational risk. Now is a good time for companies to assess the adequacy of their compliance programs."
