O’Melveny’s Participation in Law Student Diversity Mixer Noted in Daily JournalFebruary 14, 2014 On February 14, 2014, Daily Journal’s Community News section featured the Orange County Diversity Task Force's diversity mixer, which took place on January 28 in Santa Ana, CA. This networking event provided a diverse group of law students with the opportunity to meet with representatives from California’s largest firms, thereby increasing their visibility to prospective employers. The event, which drew more than 90 students, was attended on behalf of O'Melveny & Myers by counsel Edgar Martinez, who resides in the Firm’s Newport Beach office.
O’Melveny is among 23 members of the Orange County Diversity Task Force (OCDTF), a collaborative effort of professionals from leading Orange County law firms and businesses committed to achieving cultural diversity in recruiting and retaining law students and attorneys in Orange County.
