O’Melveny’s Petrocelli Comments on the 20th Anniversary of O.J. Simpson Trial

June 18, 2014 O’Melveny partner Daniel Petrocelli was featured in several reports marking the 20th anniversary of the infamous O.J. Simpson murder trial and subsequent civil lawsuit, in which Simpson was found liable for the two deaths and ordered to pay US$33.5 million to the families of murder victims Ron Goldman and Nicole Simpson. Petrocelli represented the family of Goldman in the civil trial.

Petrocelli was interviewed for a Dateline NBC special report that aired on June 12, 2014, “The People vs. O.J. Simpson: What The Jury Never Heard.” He also shared his recollections of the case with The Hollywood Reporter. “[F]or me, after 20 years, this case still means what it meant when Fred Goldman invited me into his personal tragedy and gave me the privilege to represent a father fighting for his son,” he said in the June 18 article, “A Lawyer's Never-Revealed Details of a Sister's Tears, US$33M Win.” Petrocelli also appears in a June 12 NBCNews.com post titled, “O.J. Simpson Trial Key Players: Where Are They Now?”
