O’Melveny’s Plans to Open an Office in South Korea Noted in Multiple Media Sources

O’Melveny & Myers LLP has filed an application with the Korean Ministry of Justice to open an office in Seoul, South Korea, according to multiple reports in Reuters, American Lawyer, Asian Lawyer, Bloomberg Businessweek, Law360, Asian Venture Capital Journal, The Deal Pipeline, and the Daily Journal, among others. To head the Seoul office, O’Melveny has brought on Sungyong Kang and Jinwon Park, who specialize in cross-border investments, corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, international trade, and international arbitration. The articles include details of recent wins for O’Melveny clients, including Asiana Airlines, Samsung, and SK hynix.
