O’Melveny & Myers Business Trial & Litigation partner Marvin Putnam’s representation of Las Vegas entertainers Siegfried & Roy was the subject of the September 23, 2011, Las Vegas Sun article “Siegfried & Roy Win Round In Sexual Harassment Lawsuit.” The article details the dismissal of allegations of sexual harassment brought against Siegfried & Roy by lawyers for Oliver Preiss, a former personal assistant to Roy Horn, and for Preiss’s wife Beatrice. The court ordered the lawyers to pay a US$37,415 sanction for insisting on baseless legal claims against Horn and the company owned by Siegfried & Roy.
