O’Melveny’s Rapisardi, Zujkowski Co-Author NYLJ Article on Second Circuit Decision in Chesapeake Energy Corp. Dispute

January 06, 2015 O’Melveny & Myers partner John Rapisardi and counsel Joseph Zujkowski co-authored the January 6, 2015, New York Law Journal article, “Chesapeake Energy Appeal Resolved in Favor of Noteholders.”  The piece discusses a Second Circuit decision in a dispute between Chesapeake Energy Corp. and certain of its noteholders.  According to the authors, “the litigation has both reinforced the importance of the precise and thoughtful drafting of credit documents and raised important questions about what extrinsic evidence can be considered in the event one or more credit document provisions are found to be ambiguous.”

Rapisardi is co-chair of O'Melveny's Global Restructuring Practice and resides in the Firm's New York office.  Zujkowski is a member of the Restructuring Practice and also resides in the New York office.
