O’Melveny’s Rapisardi, Zujkowski Co-Author Piece on Key Ruling for Distressed Bondholders in NYLJ

September 10, 2014 O'Melveny & Myers partner John Rapisardi and counsel Joseph Zujkowski co-authored the September 10, 2014, New York Law Journal article, "Second Circuit Expected to Address Key Issue for Distressed Bondholders.”  The piece discusses the significance of the impending Second Circuit decision in Chesapeake Energy Corp. v. Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company for distressed bondholders.  “Any guidance on this issue may not only impact other pending and future bondholder litigations but also change the dynamics of interactions between an issuer, underwriter, and indenture trustee in drafting bond indentures,” the authors write.

Rapisardi is co-chair of O'Melveny's Global Restructuring Practice and resides in the Firm's New York office.  Zujkowski is a member of the Restructuring Practice and also resides in the New York office.
