O’Melveny’s Representation of Google in Putative Privacy Class Action Noted in Law360

The March 29, 2012, Law360 article “Judge Trims Search Data Suit Against Google,” reports O’Melveny & Myers LLP is representing Google Inc. in a putative privacy class action over visible URL links in keyword search terms to third parties. In the latest developments in the case, a California federal judge dismissed six claims, leaving only one to continue since the plaintiff was unable to identify a specific injury. The O’Melveny team is led by San Francisco partner Randall Edwards and Jean Bastian Niehaus.
