O’Melveny’s Role in Pro Bono Murder Case Topic of BLT Article

O’Melveny & Myers LLP’s representation of one of seven men seeking to vacate their convictions in a 1984 murder case is the topic of a May 14, 2012, BLT: Blog of the Legal Times article. Partner Michael Antalics, along with other defense attorneys, argued that the case was undermined by exculpatory evidence that was withheld from defense attorneys at the time of the original case. During closing arguments, Antalics argued that an eyewitness account of a crime must be considered Brady evidence and stated, “You can’t get any more Brady than this type of evidence, Your Honor.”
