O’Melveny’s Warren Christopher Scholarship Program Recognized in Daily Breeze, Daily Journal

6월 22, 2015 O’Melveny & Myers’ Warren Christopher Scholarship program received coverage from Daily Breeze and Daily Journal.  Daily Breeze highlighted the Firm and the scholarship program in a June 7, 2015, profile of 2015 scholarship recipient Destiny Novillo.  “It is a blessing, a really big blessing, and it feels like a lot of my hard work has so far paid off,” Novillo told the publication.  “I’m really thankful to the committee because it’s amazing that there are organizations out there that see these kids who don’t have anything and try to support them the best that they can to make sure they’re successful,” she added.

Additionally, the June 2, 2015, edition of the Daily Journal featured a picture of some of the 2015 Warren Christopher Scholars along with program chair and O’Melveny partner Matthew Kline.  The publication notes that the scholarship fund was established in 1992 by O'Melveny partners to honor former chairman and senior partner, Warren Christopher, when he was appointed to the post of US Secretary of State.  In its 21st year, the program has now awarded scholarships to almost 200 Los Angeles-area students.

Kline is a partner in O’Melveny’s Century City office and a member of the Business Trial and Litigation Practice.
