Robson Breaks Down Aviation Antitrust Litigation Victory for Global Competition ReviewJune 09, 2017
A June 7, 2017, Global Competition Review article discussed a teleconference hosted by the American Bar Association that featured Bartlit Beck partner Karma Giulianelli and O’Melveny & Myers partner Katrina Robson discussing their recent experiences trying an antitrust case under the rule of reason to a jury in US Airways v. Sabre.
Robson and the O’Melveny team prevailed for client US Airways when a Manhattan federal jury found that “Sabre had violated federal antitrust law by inflating its commissions on airfare bookings and owed the airline US$15.3 million in trebled damages,” according to the article.
Robson represents clients in complex, high-profile antitrust and competition litigation against both government agencies and private parties.
