O’Melveny partner Ron Cheng was quoted in the May 25, 2016 Law360 article, “China’s Updated Anti-Bribery Laws Offer Business More Clarity.” Cheng told the publication: “Companies are able to gauge how a Chinese court and prosecutor will evaluate a bribery case based on the interpretation’s monetary thresholds for bribes to officials, influential persons, and non-state functionaries.
