Rothenberg Named an Energy & Environmental Trailblazer

June 07, 2017

Partner Eric Rothenberg is profiled in the 2017 edition of National Law Journal’s special supplement, “Energy & Environmental Trailblazers.” The publication notes that Rothenberg’s background is in environmental engineering.

“This has really made a difference in understanding the manufacturing context for compliance and contamination issues we face in contested matters and in transaction diligence and documentation,” he told the publication.

Regarding the future of environmental and energy enforcement, Rothenberg expects that “the practice will see an increase in work driven by global regulation and enforcement,” and in the US, “the sector will be driven by infrastructure development.”

Based in O’Melveny’s New York office, Rothenberg leads the firm’s Environmental Practice. He represents business and financial institutions in a broad range of adversarial matters, including superfund proceedings, toxic tort claims, and private cost recovery actions.
