San Francisco Examiner: Breed Taps Bayview Organizer, Former Prosecutor For Police Commission Seats

Mayor London Breed of San Francisco nominated O’Melveny White Collar Defense and Corporate Investigations partner Damali Taylor and a prominent community organizer to the city’s Police Commission. “Their combined experience in criminal justice and community development will bring important perspectives to the Commission as it works to strengthen our Police Department and further cultivate ties to our diverse communities,” the Mayor said in her announcement. Taylor is a former Assistant US Attorney and served as the chief of the Organized Crime Strike Force Section. She worked as a federal prosecutor from 2011-2017 in the Northern District of California.
