Sundance Institute Cites O’Melveny’s Pro Bono Work in Distribution of Two New Films In Artist Services ProgramOctober 18, 2012
Sundance Institute’s Artist Services program announced on October 16, 2012, that two additional independent film titles will make their digital premieres through its Artist Services access to distribution program. Codependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same and Delta Boys will make their debut on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Microsoft Xbox, Sony Entertainment Network, SundanceNOW, and YouTube though the exclusive aggregation partnership offered by the program.
The release noted that O’Melveny & Myers LLP provided pro bono legal services for these distribution agreements and has been involved with building the legal framework for the Artist Services program and participation filmmakers since its inception.
The O'Melveny team was led by Entertainment, Sports and Media Practice partner Christopher Brearton, who resides in the Century City office.
