The American Lawyer: More Firms Embrace Online Tools to Cement Client Relationships

Law firms have been providing clients with various resources and research guides as part of their marketing strategies for years. With the rise of the internet, law firms have utilized this same strategy on the web. Recently, O’Melveny created an innovative “microsite” dedicated to automated vehicles.

Melody Drummond Hansen, partner and chair of the firm’s Automated & Connected Vehicles Industry Group, explained the purpose of the new site, saying: “It’s no substitute for legal advice, but there’s confusion among the general public about where the laws are. We thought it would be useful to provide a place to look and see where the current laws are so we would be able to emphasize some of the areas that we think are important and worth watching.”
