The Asian Lawyer Features Three Recent O’Melveny Transactions

The December 1, 2011 issue of The Asian Lawyer reports on three of O’Melveny & Myers LLP’s recent transactions for clients China Polymetallic Mining Ltd., Changyou.com, and Honeywell International, Inc. in the publication’s weekly column “Asia Deal Digest.”


Firstly, an O’Melveny team led by Hong Kong partner Gordon Ng is counseling China Polymetallic Mining Ltd. on a proposed US$163 million public offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Ng is a member of the Firm’s Corporate Finance and Capital Markets Practices.


The Firm is also representing Chinese online videogames developer Changyou.com in its proposed US$163 million acquisition of 17173.com, a gaming news portal, from online media group Sohu.com. Beijing partner David Roberts and San Francisco partner Paul Scrivano are leading O’Melveny’s team.


Lastly, partner Joel Hogarth, a member of O’Melveny’s Corporate Finance and Capital Markets Practices, is advising technology company Honeywell International, Inc. in its US$335 million bid for King’s Safetywear Ltd. Hogarth resides in the Firm’s Singapore office.
