Wall Street Journal Runs Detailed Interview with Ronald Cheng on Anticorruption Efforts, Cybersecurity

O'Melveny & Myers partner Ronald Cheng was interviewed for a Wall Street Journal Q&A in the December 21, 2015, China Real Time Report. Cheng, a former federal prosecutor, helped find and convict two Bank of China managers who stole hundreds of millions before fleeing to the US in the early 2000s. In the interview, Cheng discussed China’s campaign to retrieve fugitives, legal barriers between the US and China in these anticorruption efforts, and what the law says about another hot-button question: hacking.
