CENTURY CITY, CA -- OCTOBER 21, 2009 -- O’Melveny & Myers LLP announced that Adam J. Sullins, an experienced sports and entertainment lawyer, has joined the Firm’s Entertainment, Sports & Media Practice as counsel. He will reside in the Century City office, where he previously worked for five years.
Sullins returns to O’Melveny after over four years at The Upper Deck Company, LLC, a leading sports and entertainment trading card, collectibles, and memorabilia company, where he most recently served as the Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs and General Counsel.
Among his executive duties at Upper Deck, Sullins was responsible for the business and legal affairs of the company, including general corporate matters, licensing, acquisitions, dispute resolution, and security. He also led the company’s dealings with professional sports leagues, players’ associations, prominent individual athlete spokespersons from the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, PGA, and LPGA, companies such as Nike and Electronic Arts, and various sports and talent agencies.

About Adam J. Sullins
Adam received his undergraduate degree from Yale University in 1996, where he played varsity men’s soccer for four years and served as the team’s captain his senior year. Adam earned a J.D. from the University of California Los Angeles Law School in 1999. He joined O’Melveny that same year, and worked as an associate until moving to Upper Deck in 2004.
