SAN FRANCISCO—July 19, 2017—O’Melveny advised Basis Set Ventures (BSV) as lead investor in a US$7 million series A financing for Clara Labs, a startup that automates the process of meeting scheduling for busy professionals. Slack Fund also joined in the round, alongside existing investors Sequoia and First Round.
Basis Set Ventures is an early-stage venture fund focusing on improving work productivity through artificial intelligence for white and blue collar workers. BSV’s US$136 million fund is dedicated to investing in companies that set out to improve work efficiency, particularly workflow automation and vertically focused companies with full-stack solutions.
