O’Melveny Advises China Wan Tong Yuan on its Main Board HKEx Listing

HONG KONG—December 17, 2019—O’Melveny advised Caitong International Capital Co., Limited in China Wan Tong Yuan (Holdings) Limited’s (6966.HK) transfer of listing from GEM to the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx).
Established in November 2007, China Wan Tong Yuan is a burial service provider and cemetery operator based in Langfang, China, and has been listed on GEM since September 2017. HKEx amended its listing rules in early 2018 and imposed more stringent requirements on transfer of listing applications between GEM (formerly known as the Growth Enterprise Market) and the Main Board. As an Eligible Issuer, China Wan Tong Yuan made use of the transitional transfer of listing arrangement under Appendix 28 of the Listing Rule and successfully transferred its listing to the Main Board of HKEx on December 17, 2019.
Completion of China Wan Tong Yuan’s listing on the Main Board of HKEx represents O’Melveny’s sixth successful Hong Kong listing this year.
