April 12, 2017FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LOS ANGELES—April 12, 2017—O’Melveny partner Liz Dubeck was recognized by the Daily Journal as one of the top lawyers under 40 years old in California.
The article highlights Dubeck’s leading role in the US$2.5 billion bond financing for LaGuardia Gateway Partners’ leasing, redevelopment, and long-term operation of the Central Terminal at New York LaGuardia Airport.
“I’m used to being the youngest,” Dubeck said in the article. “O’Melveny is big on giving folks a lot of responsibility early on.”
The article also notes Dubeck’s numerous other clients in the transportation sector, including the California High-Speed Rail Authority.
“The firm has a great history in the aviation sector,” Dubeck told the Daily Journal. “There’s a lot of innovation in the aviation and rail space. These deals aren't cookie-cutter.”
Dubeck focuses her practice on project finance, infrastructure development, public-private partnerships, real estate development, and leasing. She also serves on the board of Hope Street Friends, a full-time childcare center adjacent to the downtown Los Angeles office that O’Melveny co-founded to support working parents at the firm and in the community.
