Daily Journal Names Dubeck to its 2017 List of Top Women Lawyers

LOS ANGELES—May 24, 2017—Liz Dubeck is featured as one of the Daily Journal’s 2017 Top Women Lawyers, a special feature published on May 24, 2017.

The profile highlighted Dubeck’s leadership of an O’Melveny team that handled a US$2.5 million bond financing as part of LaGuardia Gateway Partners’ redevelopment of New York LaGuardia Airport’s Central Terminal Building, which is the largest public-private partnership to date.

“It was a fascinating deal,” Dubeck said. “A lot of these airport privatizations are pretty new, and there are a lot of opportunities to think creatively and come up with new structures that will work.”

As the Daily Journal observed, Dubeck’s practice goes beyond the aviation industry, including representing the California High-Speed Rail Authority in creating the nation’s first high-speed rail system and representing underwriters Wells Fargo Securities and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities in the refinancing of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s long-term debt structure.

Dubeck focuses her practice on project finance, infrastructure development, public-private partnerships, real estate development, and leasing. She also serves on the board of Hope Street Friends, a full-time childcare center adjacent to the downtown Los Angeles office that O’Melveny co-founded to support working parents at the firms and in the community.
