Global Investigations Review Names Kiran Raj Among Top 40 Under 40
9月 05, 2017FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WASHINGTON DC—September 5, 2017—Global Investigations Review named O’Melveny partner Kiran Raj one of its Top 40 Under 40.
The profile calls out some of Raj’s career highlights, including his clerkship on the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit for Judge Pierre Leval and his time in the executive branch of the federal government, and why he enjoys working in investigations.
“I have always enjoyed getting to the bottom of a story, and the investigations practice allows you to do that in a variety of different contexts. It is also a highly personal area in many ways, as the issues that you deal with have a direct and tangible impact on real people,” Raj said in the article. “Part of the reason I joined O’Melveny is to use my government background to help the firm’s clients successfully work with the government if they find themselves under investigation.”
The article also mentions Raj’s previous work in the government and as a software engineer and technologist. Raj said he uses “that technical knowledge at O’Melveny to better understand some of our clients’ businesses.”
