SAN FRANCISCO — May 27, 2016 — O’Melveny prevailed for client Google when a jury in the U.S. District Court in Delaware ruled Friday that the technology used by Google Earth to render high-resolution images of the earth does not infringe a patent held by a German company and found the patent to be invalid over prior art.

The O’Melveny team included Darin Snyder, Brett Williamson, Luann L. Simmons, David S. Almeling, Mark Liang, Mishima Alam, and John X. Zhu.
