LABJ Names O’Melveny’s Yagura Among Most Influential IP Attorneys

LOS ANGELES—August 22, 2017—Los Angeles Business Journal has named O’Melveny partner Ryan Yagura one of the Most Influential Intellectual Property Attorneys in Los Angeles for 2017. Yagura is profiled in an August 14, 2017, special issue, which highlights 30 leading IP lawyers in the region.

In his profile, LABJ calls Yagura an “accomplished litigator” who “steers some of the world’s leading technology companies through their complex patent infringement matters.” LABJ points to Yagura’s recent work representing Samsung, “successfully settling two cases on the brink of trial” and “defending the company in many more patent infringement matters.” The publication also notes that Yagura “secured significant victories this past year for AMD and iHeartMedia.”

Yagura, who resides in O’Melveny’s Los Angeles office, serves as chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Practice.
