O’Melveny’s Pao, Geevarghese Named Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow, Pathfinder

LOS ANGELES—March 2, 2017—O’Melveny partner Will Pao has been named a member of the 2017 class of Fellows, participating in a landmark program created by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.
“O’Melveny and LCLD have worked together for years to promote diversity and inclusion throughout the legal profession,” said Mary Ellen Connerty, O’Melveny’s Director of Diversity & Inclusion. “We’re honored for Will and Nidhi to continue that thought partnering with such a great organization.”
According to LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr., the LCLD Fellows Program offers participants “an extraordinarily rich year of relationship-building, in-person training, peer-group projects, and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership.”
In addition, O’Melveny associate Nidhi Geevarghese is a member of the 2017 class of Pathfinders, participating in a program designed by the LCLD to train early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies including leadership and the building of professional networks.
Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 260 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. The LCLD Fellows program, which has trained more than one thousand mid-career attorneys since 2011, is one of LCLD’s most important initiatives.
