NEW YORK ─ APRIL 10, 2012 ─ O’Melveny & Myers LLP announced today that Ross Galin has joined the Firm as Counsel. Galin will be a member of the Health Care and Life Sciences Practice and the White Collar Defense and Corporate Investigations Practice and will reside in O’Melveny’s New York office.

Galin represents corporations and individual clients in civil, regulatory, and criminal matters. He as conducted over 100 internal compliance investigations on behalf of pharmaceutical companies, sits on a company’s Reportable Event Committee, and has conducted multiple proactive reviews of promotional practices. Galin also has represented pharmaceutical companies and individuals in government investigations and in civil qui tam litigation.
Galin comes to O’Melveny after practicing at an international law firm in New York. He also clerked for the Honorable John F. Keenan, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York. Prior to his legal career, Galin held several positions in the federal government including as a legislative director for United States Congressman William J. Pascrell, Jr., and as legislative assistant and deputy press secretary for United States Senator Robert G. Torricelli.

Galin received a B.A. from the University of Michigan. He received his J.D. cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, where he was the managing editor of Fordham Law Review. In 2011, Galin was named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers.
