O’Melveny Adds to Its International Arbitration Practice in Hong Kong

Move Enhances Firm’s Asia Arbitration Offering
HONG KONG―December 12, 2016―O’Melveny is pleased to announce that Aditya Kurian has joined the firm’s Hong Kong office. Kurian most recently served as counsel and a country head at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).
Kurian brings to O’Melveny significant experience of HKIAC references and practical knowledge of how to conduct international arbitration. While at the HKIAC, he administered more than 200 international arbitrations.
“Aditya’s arrival is a win for our clients,” said Denis Brock, head of O’Melveny’s Hong Kong office, Asia regional head of litigation, and chair of the firm’s International Arbitration Practice. “His insight will come into play in every step of assisting our clients in the arbitration process, from preparing for the case, pre-arbitration administrative procedure process, preparation for pre-hearing, and pre-arbitration briefs.”

Kurian earned his B.A. and LL.B. (Hons) in Law at India’s National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), and his LL.M. from Duke University.
