O'Melveny Adds Xuan Zhang to Asia Funds Practice in Beijing

BEIJING - AUGUST 12, 2010 - O’Melveny & Myers LLP has welcomed Xuan Zhang to its Investment Funds Practice as counsel in the Beijing office.  Zhang brings seven years of experience in the formation and operation of private equity funds, including buyout, infrastructure, mezzanine, real estate, and venture capital funds, as well as hedge funds and funds of funds.  At O’Melveny, her practice will focus on offshore funds targeting China and the region, dual fund structures, and RMB funds.

Prior to joining O’Melveny, Zhang practiced law at a prominent international law firm in New York City for seven years.  She holds a JD degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, an LLB degree from the Nanjing University School of Law, as well as postgraduate qualifications from Northwestern University, Göttingen University and the Chinese-German Institute of Economic Law.
