O’Melveny Advises Booking Holdings Inc. in Agreement to Acquire Venga

SILICON VALLEY—May 6, 2019—O’Melveny represented Booking Holdings Inc., the world leader in online travel and related services (NASDAQ: BKNG), in an agreement to acquire Venga, a guest management platform for restaurants and other businesses.

The acquisition was announced on May 2, 2019. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Following the acquisition, Venga will align closely with Booking Holdings’ brand OpenTable to further improve offerings for its 51,000+ restaurant partners.

Booking Holdings Inc. provides online and travel-related services to customers and partners in more than 220 countries and territories through several well-known brands, including OpenTable, Booking.com, KAYAK, priceline.com.

Venga enables its clients to enhance and personalize the customer experience through its SaaS technology.

The O’Melveny team representing Booking Holdings was led by Silicon Valley partner David Makarechian and associate Chris Wheeler.
