O'Melveny and Brock, Ang Shortlisted in Inaugural Asialaw Asia-Pacific Dispute Resolution Awards

The inaugural Asialaw Asia-Pacific Dispute Resolution Awards have shortlisted O’Melveny & Myers as a Best in Insurance law firm and nominated O’Melveny partner Denis Brock for Disputes Star of the Year in Hong Kong and counsel Desmond Ang as a Rising Star.

The winners in 12 practice areas will be announced on September 24, 2015, at The Ritz-Carlton in Hong Kong. According to Asialaw, “firm awards will pinpoint the leading teams for handling disputes and commend those dedicated to providing excellence across a range of industries.” The event also will benefit the food bank Feeding Hong Kong, which redistributes surplus food to people in need.

Brock is a partner in O’Melveny’s Hong Kong office, and a Registered Foreign Lawyer in the Firm’s Singapore office. He serves as Chair of O’Melveny’s International Disputes and Arbitration Practice and the Regional Head of Litigation for Asia. Ang is a counsel in O'Melveny’s Hong Kong office, a Registered Foreign Lawyer in O’Melveny’s Singapore office, and a member of the Firm’s International Dispute and Arbitration Practice.
