LOS ANGELES — September 22, 2015 — O’Melveny & Myers LLP’s 2015 summer associates gave the Firm its highest marks ever on The American Lawyer’s annual Summer Associates Survey.  The Firm jumped to No. 4 this year, up nine spots from 2014.

The Am Law Summer Associates Survey asks summer associates nine job satisfaction questions related to interest level of the work, how much of it was “real,” training and guidance, interactions with partners and full-time associates, how well the firm communicated its goals, how accurately the firm portrayed itself in interviews, how it rated overall as a place to work, and inclination to accept a job if one were offered.  On a 5-point scale, O’Melveny scored 4.984 overall; 92 firms were ranked on the survey.  O’Melveny also made a strong showing throughout the country in the survey’s regional rankings.

“We’re gratified and proud that our summer associates have a valuable experience at O’Melveny,” said Allen W. Burton, O’Melveny’s hiring partner.  “Our program provides terrific opportunities to do substantive work, get incredible training, and spend time with our talented attorneys.”
