LOS ANGELES, CA ─ O'Melveny & Myers LLP received top-tier rankings in three practice areas and five Firm lawyers were named "Leading Lawyers" in the latest Legal 500 United States rankings 2009. Overall, 36 O’Melveny lawyers were recognized across 17 practices in the rankings service's third annual guide covering the US legal market.

The five partners receiving special recognition as "Leading Lawyers" in their practice categories were: Bob Eccles, Joe Calabrese, George Riley, Rich Parker, and Walter Dellinger.

Among the 17 practice areas, O'Melveny achieved the Tier One designation in Labor and employment: ERISA Litigation; Media, technology and telecoms: Film, music, and TV--advice to corporates; and Media, technology and telecoms: Technology: video and online gaming - advice to corporates.
