NEW YORK, NY - June 16, 2015 - O’Melveny & Myers LLP was awarded “Most Innovative International Firm” and “Best Gender Diversity Initiative by an International Firm” at Euromoney Legal Media Group’s fourth annual Americas Women in Business Law Awards, held on June 5, 2015, in New York City. O’Melveny has been a fixture of the Women in Business Law Awards shortlist and winners circle in recent years, receiving the award for “Best International Firm for Women in Business Law” in 2014 and for “Best International Mentoring Program” in 2014 and 2013.

Euromoney’s Americas Women in Business Law Awards acknowledge law and professional services firms for their efforts and achievements in helping women advance in the legal profession, as well as individual women leading the field in the legal sector across the Americas. O’Melveny was nominated for a total of nine awards in 2015, including individual awards for partner Danielle Gray, who was nominated for “Best in Financial Regulation,” and partner Dawn Sestito, who was shortlisted as a "Rising Star" in Litigation. The Firm’s additional nominations were for “Best International Firm for Women in Business Law,” “Best International Mentoring Program,” “Best International Firm for Diversity,” “Best International Firm for Work-Life Balance,” and “Best International Firm for Pro Bono.”
