O’Melveny Once Again Garners Euromoney’s Best International Firm for Women in Business Law, Best International Mentoring Program Awards

NEW YORK—June 8, 2018—O’Melveny was named Best International Firm for Women in Business Law for the third consecutive year at Euromoney Legal Media Group’s seventh annual Americas Women in Business Law Awards. In addition, O’Melveny was recognized for Best International Mentoring Program for the third time.

Held June 7, 2018, in New York, the awards acknowledge law firms for their efforts and achievements in helping women advance in the legal profession.

O’Melveny was recognized for such offerings as its Women’s Leadership Academy, which provides the firm’s women partners and counsel, along with women clients, with intensive leadership skills development and relationship building, as well as its Northeast Region Employee Networks, affinity groups dedicated to career and business development and networking. O’Melveny was also recognized for its wide range of mentoring options, including its Upward Review Process, which provides counsel and partners with constructive, individualized feedback on their supervisory, practice management, and leadership skills as well as coaching tips for improving supervisory skills. The firm also has a new feedback program designed to help help the firm better communicate with courage and candor, particularly across differences.
