CENTURY CITY --December 9, 2015 --
O’Melveny & Myers LLP partners Matthew Erramouspe, Stephen Scharf, and Bruce Tobey were selected for Variety’s Dealmakers Impact Report for the second consecutive year.  The special report recognizes the lawyers, executives, financiers, and entrepreneurs behind the most important entertainment industry deals of the past 12 months.

The feature highlights some of the year’s most significant transactions led by the trio, who serve as transactional co-heads of O’Melveny’s Entertainment, Sports, and Media Practice, including representing Bona Film Group in its US$235 million Fox financing, Lionsgate in its US$1.5 billion Hunan TV pact, and Alibaba in its “Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation” investment with Paramount.

The report also spotlights counsel Jing Cao as a rising star in the “Up Next” category.  “Our entertainment group at O’Melveny has had an incredibly strong year negotiating groundbreaking deals in the growing US-China film and television space,” Cao told Variety.
