O’Melveny & Myers LLP’s new transactional co-heads of the Firm’s highly respected Entertainment, Sports and Media Practice—Century City lawyers Stephen Scharf, Matthew Erramouspe, and Bruce Tobey—have been recognized in Variety’s Dealmakers Impact Report. The special report details O’Melveny’s work connecting Hollywood with China in “real tangible transactions.”

Erramouspe has been a leader in the increasing China and US filmmaking space and represents motion picture studios, production companies, distributors, investors, sponsors, investment banks, private equity funds, and hedge funds in all aspects of film finance, production, distribution, and other facets of events and live content. Scharf has been a pioneer of contemporary film finance and at the forefront of the Asia entertainment boom, guiding clients as they expand their global operations. Tobey’s career includes work as a highly regarded entertainment transactions lawyer and years of experience on the corporate side as the former Chief Operating Officer of CBS Films, Executive Vice President of Paramount Pictures Corporation, and General Counsel and Vice President of Broadband Sports.

Amy Siegel, a counsel in the Firm’s Century City office, was recognized for her work shepherding Warner Bros.’ acquisition of TV programmer Eyeworks in 2014. Siegel helped coordinate lawyers in 15 locations around the world and navigate local regulations.
