NEW YORK -- June 30, 2015 -- O’Melveny & Myers LLP’s counsel Daniel Franklin has been named one of the Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40 by the National LGBT Bar Association. Franklin will be recognized August 6, 2015, at an awards luncheon at the Chicago Marriott Downtown.
The LGBT Bar established this award to recognize outstanding lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender legal professionals under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their field and demonstrated a profound commitment to LGBT equality. Franklin has worked with several non-profit organizations, including The Synergos Institute, an international organization dedicated to fighting poverty and promoting equity in the developing world. He also has worked with public officials in the United States and the United Kingdom, including then US Senator Joseph R. Biden, Jr.
